To ensure that you have the best possible wedding day we always meet with you prior to the wedding to discuss your ideas and expectations for your wedding photos. In the Okanagan we have covered weddings in Kelowna, Vernon, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and at Silver Star Mountain. We will travel as far as it takes to cover your wedding.

Portraits

Are you comfortable? – Then we will begin. Good portraits cannot be rushed and only come through patience and timing. I try to capture your portrait in a familiar environment. This way you are relaxed and comfortable. I am a big fan of natural lighting but also offer studio sessions with strobe lighting.

Gather up the family for a portrait session. We can shoot in our studio, in your home or at your favourite location.

I have been lucky to cover several grads and would be thrilled to be there for your big day. I offer portrait sessions, full or half day sessions. We will do portraits of family, friends and peers.

Morten is fantastic to work with.  We got both our maternity photos and baby photos done with Morten and could not be more pleased with the outcome!  He makes you feel very comfortable, gives great suggestions and really knows what creates a beautiful shot.  While we were doing the baby shoot, he was very patient with our baby girl’s need to take a few breaks ~ never once made us feel rushed.  We had so much fun working with him and would not hesitate to work with him again!  He rocks!

Sports Photography

Freezing the action in a split second where an athlete performs at his or her maximum level is a very satisfying feeling. I shoot mostly soccer, cross country skiing and hockey but have also tried my hand at curling, BMX, baseball and car racing.

Stage

Energy, lights, sound and excitement. It all comes together on stage. Having played in bands through my teens and twenties, I have created a deep appreciation of live music and the arts. Both of my children have made me very proud as they have been actively involved with the 27th Street Theatre Company at Seaton High School in Vernon. It has been a great pleasure and privilege to be able to photograph the many talented young actors over the years.

On the stage I have had the great fortune to see and photograph such great acts as Mark Knopfler, Neil Young and Coldplay.
