Grand Teton National Park - Day One

After three days in Yellowstone National Park we ventured south and entered the Grand Teton National Park. I had heard great things about this area but deliberately kept my expectations low. The Grand Tetons are indeed a breathtaking site and we spent most of our day circling the area and grabbing scenic shots from lookouts and river bends. We could not have been luckier with the weather. Blue skies with a few puffy clouds to make the scenes even more beautiful.

Late in the afternoon we came upon one of the highlights of our trip. A moose standing in the river just eating away. We took so many shots of this moose and I encourage you to follow the link below to see a selection.

At dusk we set up the cameras on tripods and waited for the sun to go down on what had been a truly gorgeous day with lots of sites seen.
