San Jose del Cabo - A Nice Break

We had been looking forward to this trip for some time and I can now say that we were not disappointed. It is the end of winter here in BC and to bridge the gap between winter and spring my family set out for week in the sun. The choice of location was Los Cabos, Mexico at the southern tip of the Baja peninsula. The weather was perfect with temperatures in the high twenties to low thirties with clear blue skies every day. We stayed in a resort right on the beach and enjoyed a fabulous sandy beach which never seemed crowded. We walked to the quaint centre of San Jose a couple of times and enjoyed superb hospitality and delicious meals at the Royal Solaris Resort. I would highly recommend this area for a week of R&R.

Much to our surprise Los Cabos was to host the IRONMAN race the week we were there. A first for the region. More about in another post coming up along with a post with photos from a day trip to Cabo San Lucas.

Below are a few favourites from our days in San Jose del Cabo. Photos are captured using two cameras. A Canon 5D Mark III with a Zeiss Distagon ZE T* 21mm f/2.8 and a Fujifilm X-Pro1 with an XF 35 1.4R.
