There is nothing like waking up to a sunrise at Silver Star. The Rockies in the distance creates a jaw-dropping and jagged horizon as the sun comes up over the mountains. We celebrated opening day with a downhill ski in the morning and cross country ski in the afternoon. Conditions couldn't have been better. It was a crisp but not too cold morning with excellent snow conditions.
