Yellowstone National Park - Day Two

Monday morning we took off for another drive through the beautiful Lamar Valley. Plenty of Bison to be seen and on our way back we saw a flock of pronghorn. They were patient with us and posed nicely for a bunch of shots.

We made a stop at Canyon Village to view the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The colour of the rock and majestic backdrops makes this is worth while stop and we spotted an osprey nest below us on the rock. Beautiful.

Time for the scenic drive down the Hayden Valley. We had hoped to see more wildlife here but had to settle for the beautiful scenery instead. We made several stops and eagerly took a stack of snapshots.

Like on our first day we wrapped things up at one of the many geysers / hot springs in Yellowstone. This time we took in the Mammoth Hot Springs which is located near the exit to the park.
