Eagles near Grindrod

As we out looking for wildlife this past Saturday we stumbled upon an eagles nest near the Shuswap River. It was interesting at first sight but even better after we discover a chick in the nest. I am somewhat challenged when it comes to my focal length shooting birds so Henrik kindly let me use his Canon 7D and EF 500 4L + 1.4x extender to grab a few shots.
