Black and White Photography From Hong Kong

Sharon took time out of her busy week and treated us to dinner at the Football Club, which is located adjacent to the Hong Kong Jockey Club. These facilities are out-of-the-world cool. Placed smack dab in the middle of the city with highrise buildings surrounding them.

After dinner, we were off to the races. We placed a couple of bets and discussed what we would be spending the winnings on. The horse races here attract up to 55.000 people weekly during the main season and it was spectacular to witness. This is a place to see and be seen.

We arrived later in the evening and stayed for three races. Horse racing here is what soccer is in Europe or hockey in Canada. It is all about betting and the newspapers are filled with charts, odds, and results which are carefully studied in the stands by the fans.
