Denmark with only an iPhone
Unexpectedly I found myself going to Denmark for the first week in November. I was attending the funeral of my dear Aunt Lis who was a very important person to me in my youth especially. Aunt Lis also came and visited us here in Canada a few years ago. It was a sad occation but at the same time great to connect with family and friends again. It was a whirl wind trip, which took me from East Coast to West Coast and back in just a week. For about six and a half days out of seven Denmark was either covered in fog or overcast. The sun did come out on the very last day and timely so for a quick walk around Copenhagen. My good friend Jesper had invited my to a concert on the final evening. "Fleet Foxes" played a concert in Copenhagen. I had never heard of them but after few days of intense preparation (by listening to their two albums), I was in for treat. If you haven't heard them yet, I encourage you to check them out. Below a few of my favourites from Denmark. I may have gone mad as the only camera I brought along for this trip was my iPhone 4S.
