Enderby Cliffs and the Shuswap River

Yesterday we drove north to Enderby. The bikes were on the rack and we had decided on an easy ride to Grindrod and back below Enderby Cliffs and along the Shuswap River (26K roundtrip). We had seen this stretch from the highway numerous times but had never ventured onto the back roads. We followed Google maps and got ourselves onto a private road somehow. After spotting several fresh bear droppings and a "beware of guard dog" sign we turned around and found the paved route again. We briefly stopped at the trailhead for the hike to Enderby Cliffs and decided that we would do this before long. It's a 7K hike to the lookout.
