Mayor's Cup Las Vegas
On February 17th we headed to Las Vegas for the Mayor's Cup soccer tournament. Our U15 girls from TOFC (Thompson Okanagan Football Club) played in the tournament. The girls did a great job and ended up winning the tournament after a series of convincing games. I think most parents had looked forward to warming up along the sidelines in the Nevada sun. The sun did come out for a couple of games but the winds were howling and temperatures in Vegas were unseasonably cold. Oh well. It was a good time non the less. We took in the strip and as a highlight caught the Blue Man Group at the Venetian. Below are a few tournament photos. For this tournament I travelled light and the photos are captured with the 5D II, 70-200 2.8L and 16-35L.
