One more Blow at the Horn

Last night a group of us sent Russ off to new adventures as he is leaving his job at the Bulldog Hotel at Silver Star Mountain. Russ owned and operated Putnam Station Inn from 1983 to 2007, whereafter  the hotel was purchased by The Bulldog Hotel. He has now officially derailed from the ol' Station/Bulldog and will be teaching mechanical engineering at Okanagan College. Without doubt there are many friends and old colleagues who would wish Russ well and offer a huge thank you for the time spent together. Throughout the Putnam years he built up a very special place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A fun place to be and a great place to work. Russ hired me on as a front desk manager, web/photo guy and we worked together for more than 13 years. Throughout these years he taught me so many things that I use now in my own business. You are truly a great friend and we'll miss seeing your smiling face at Silver Star. Good luck in the new job.
