Hiking in The Okanagan
About a 35K drive North of Vernon we hit the Rose Swanson Hiking Trails outside Armstrong. It was a gorgeous afternoon for a hike. It was a double work out. The hike in itself and then fighting off the mosquitos. I am probably exaggerating a bit but you get the idea. The reward on the 7K loop was, for us, a new view of the Okanagan. On the top of Mount Rose you get a great view of Swan Lake, Otter Lake, and Okanagan Lake.
