Tolko & Habitat for Humanity
Throughout the months of October and November I was in West Kelowna several times covering the Habitat for Humanity building project for Tolko Industries Ltd. Tolko has donated lumber and sheating package for the construction of a duplex built by volunteers for low income families. It was great coming back week after week seeing the project getting near completion. The volunteers were great to work with and were very patient with me constantly pointing my camera at them. Thanks to Ken Kunka and Lana Manning for accommodation me (wonderful sandwiches and Tim Hortons coffee). I would also like to thank Tolko representatives Daniele Williamson and Bob McCallum for helping me coordinate this project. Below, a few of the many photos captured during the construction.
