Happy New Year

2015 is here and I wish everyone a Happy New Year. The last few days of 2014 and January 1st offered some great opportunities for landscape photography as it snowed heavily on Dec. 27-28th followed by cold temperatures and sunny periods.

As an early Christmas present to myself, I decided to switch out my Canon wide-angle zoom. The old 16-35 2.8L was sold and the new EF 16-35 4L IS has arrived. I have had a good chance to use it over the holidays. I may do a more in-depth review at some point but for now, I am enjoying this new tool. Below are some of the landscape shots captured over the holiday. Most of the photos are with the new 16-35mm but not all.
